Chiswick Full House Renovation

Working alongside the architect, we completely reimagined this Victorian property, overcoming the challenge of an unconventional layout and creating a truly unique home for our clients.

The entire floorplan was reworked, designing a family home that work both practically and aesthetically for its occupants. We were able to create four separate entertaining spaces, cleverly configured ensuites for each bedroom and a family kitchen that is truly the heart of the home.

“Our paramount aim was to have a house that welcomes our three children and their friends for years to come, and that is exactly what we have” – Client

The two front receptions sit on opposite sides of the impressive entrance hall and are united through matching limewashed walls, panelling, chevron wooden flooring and Carrara marble fireplaces.  Double sliding doors allow the rooms to be used as one large entertaining space or to be closed off for more intimate gatherings.

Functional spaces like the utility room & boot room were elevated with beautifully crafted joinery, whilst the bespoke drinks cabinet in the cocktail room added a real touch of opulence.

Floor to ceiling joinery in the snug created a library feel for this book loving family.

And we designed a continuous handrail which runs around the first floor landing down to the ground floor and all the way down to the basement.

The master suite exudes luxury with a walk in dressing room that was specifically designed to accomodate watch and tie collections. The master bedroom features bedside tables from Pringle & Pringles new furniture range and a striking Stark carpet, whilst the ensuite bathroom features a double walk-in shower, a double sink vanity with Statuario polished marble top, Galbraith & Paul blinds and a freestanding bath.

Each of the children's bedrooms tells a unique story, with custom designs tailored to their interests and preferences. Voysey wallpaper was chosen for one’s love of nature, and mezzanines were designed in two of the rooms to create quiet retreats for reading and relaxing.

Mixed pattern tiles and bold wallpapers were used in each of the bathrooms
